Homemade heart-shaped chocolate chip cookies dipped in white chocolate and topped with sprinkles, are the perfect DIY treat for any occasion. These delicious cookies were fun and simple to make. The baking process was very basic, and this generic cookie can be changed to your desired shape or decoration. I chose to melt pink-dyed white chocolate which I purchased at A & J Cake and Candy Supplies. Shaping the cookies with a heart-shaped cutter was the hardest part. I shaped them prior to putting them in the oven and they puffed up, making the cookies somewhat shapeless. However, five minutes after I took them out of the oven I put the cookie cutter over it again and cut the excess off. Overall, these cookies were easy and cute to make.
