Every year, residents and visitors alike fill the streets, to experience the joy and the holiday warmth of traditions in our Glendora community, and this year’s Village Holiday Stroll proved yet again to be the perfect way to start this holiday season.
From the view of the village’s signature Ficus trees adorned with twinkling lights lining the avenue, the Holiday Stroll creates the perfect, heartwarming atmosphere for the celebration of community and seasonal cheer.
The festively decorated storefronts display gifts, fun holiday decor, and holiday treats up for purchase to curious, wandering shoppers while local singing groups add an extra touch of magic with their performances of holiday classics.
The voices of our very own GHS show choir lingered throughout the village, carrying festive tunes like "Christmas Day" and "Deck the Halls."
The Christmas carolers also added their extra touch of magic. Dressed in festive attire, the carolers enchanted people passing by with their old-fashioned holiday charm that made the evening feel like you stepped into a storybook.
But of course, the biggest celebrity of the evening was Santa Claus himself. With eager families lined up along the road for a gift consultation, Old Saint Nick sparked joy in the hearts of adults and children alike.
The annual holiday stroll reminds us of the connections that make the Glendora community special. As Christmas and New Year’s Eve inch closer and closer, let the holiday stroll serve as a testament to the enduring power of unity brought by celebrating the holidays.
