Valentine's Day: A Day to Love the Idea of Love

Valentine’s Day. The one holiday that people either really love or truly hate mostly because most people relate how they feel about Valentine's Day to their current relationship status.

Come February 14, and you find yourself alone with no one special to share it with, you are given every reason to celebrate “Galentine’s Day” which will give you a chance to spend quality time with the people you care about. Some of the best Valentine’s Days can be spent with friends eating a variety of junk food and binge watching Netflix.

It’s always a reason to treat yourself and it doesn't need to come from someone else for it to be awesome. There's no shame in spending the holiday single surrounded by all of your friends.

If you are lucky to be in a healthy, romantic relationship with a partner who you love, then Valentine’s Day is the perfect day for you. It is dedicated to showing those you love how much you care for them by either taking them out to a nice dinner or buying them a meaningful gift.

Having a significant other in your life should at least give you a reason to feel happy on Valentine’s Day.

In order to fully be happy with your life you need to love yourself first. So what better day to do that than Valentine’s Day?
