Glendora Garageband : Adronika

In these past several months social media has been taken by storm with a number of garage bands finding great popularity, and there is actually a thriving band community in Glendora’s own backyard. 

Glendora High student Mia McMullen started her own band called “Adronika.” McMullen, now lead singer and bassist of the band,  was first introduced to the band through a past member. 

“Originally we all were in a music program together and [an original band member] invited me to the band,” states McMullen. She notes how everyone in the program hit it off really well and deciding to keep working together was really easy. When two former members of the band had to leave for college, McMullen was more than ready to step into a lead role of the band.   

McMullen explains that despite the band playing primarily metal, they do “play a mix of different genres, and try to keep it diverse because everyone in the band likes different music.” 

Andronika plays all around Upland, Los Angeles, La Verne, and Glendora in a number of breweries and restaurants. Be on the lookout for new music and new band members soon from Glendora’s very own “Adronika.”
