Christmas Tree Brownies Recipe



  • ⅔ cup (151 g) unsalted butter

  • 5 ounces (142 g) semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

  • ¼ cup (21 g) unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted

  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar

  • 3 large eggs, room temperature

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup (130 g) all-purpose flour, sifted


  • Green Food Coloring

  • White Frosting (any kind)

  • M&Ms (any kind)


  1. Melt the chocolate and butter over a heated pot in a heatproof bowl. Put the cocoa powder in the bowl after everything is melted, and stir until the mixture is smooth.

  2. In a separate bowl, put eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt together. Then put the cocoa mixture made over the stove with this one.

  3. In a pan of any size, pour the brownie mixture and heat the oven to 350. Bake for 25 minutes.
