This Friday our varsity football players are going to the semifinals for C.I.F. against Palos Verdes.
The boys took on Apple Valley Nov. 9 and won with the end score being 48-33.
Palos Verdes took on Aquinas in the third round of C.I.F. and won 12-7. Palos Verdes was down most of the game against Aquinas, but in the fourth quarter they pushed through.
Glendora Tartans played their hearts out last Friday, and even though the weather had other plans they still came out with a win.
Palos Verdes is ranked 70 in the state while Glendora is ranked 86.
“Palos Verdes is a good team but we’ve been practicing really hard, and playing against Apple Valley definitely helped us prepare for this Friday” says senior Will Jordison
Whoever wins this Friday's game will go to the championship and either play Lawndale or St. Paul Nov. 23.
Come support the boys this Friday at Citrus College Stadium as they take on the Palos Verdes Sea Kings at 7 p.m., and don’t forget to wear camouflage.
